Key Responsibilities

At Trafilea, retention is not just about sending emails. It's about creating personalized customer experiences that drive engagement, increase lifetime value, and fuel the growth of globally recognized D2C brands.

We're looking for a Growth Marketer, Retention to execute high-impact lifecycle marketing initiatives across Email, SMS, Push Notifications, and WhatsApp. If you enjoy combining creativity, data, experimentation, and automation to improve customer experiences, this role is for you.

You'll join a remote-first team that moves fast, experiments constantly, and operates at a scale few e-commerce companies can match

What you'll do:

• Execute lifecycle marketing campaigns and automated customer journeys across Email, SMS, Push Notifications, and WhatsApp.

• Build, launch, and optimize CRM campaigns directly inside marketing automation platforms.

• Run A/B tests to continuously improve open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and revenue.

• Segment customer audiences and deliver personalized communications using dynamic content and product recommendations.

• Write compelling copy for retention campaigns while collaborating with designers and content teams.

• Execute onboarding, engagement, reactivation, and win-back programs across the customer lifecycle.

• Analyze campaign performance, identify actionable insights, and recommend optimizations based on data.

• Ensure campaigns comply with industry regulations and email/SMS best practices.

• Partner with Product, CX, Data, Design, and Content teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

• 1–3 years of experience in CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, Retention Marketing, or Email Marketing.

• At least 1 year managing owned marketing channels such as Email, SMS, Push Notifications, or WhatsApp.

• Hands-on experience building campaigns and automation workflows in CRM platforms such as Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle Responsys, Customer.io , or Insider.

• Experience writing marketing copy and collaborating on creative assets.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate campaign data into optimization opportunities.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments such as e-commerce, marketplaces, consumer apps, or D2C brands.

• Strong communication skills and an ownership mentality.

• English proficiency to collaborate in a global environment.
