Medical Director, Medical Excellence & Operations

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Medical Director to lead the Medical Excellence & Operations team in Toronto, supporting medical affairs and commercial functions across innovative medicines. The role oversees medical technology, material review, compliance, medical information, and field medical excellence while managing a team and establishing strategic processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead Medical Excellence & Operations team providing strategic direction and line management
- Oversee medical affairs technology, analytics platforms, and material review processes
- Establish compliant processes and controls for medical education, sponsorships, and grants management
- Drive transparency reporting and HCP value transfer oversight for regulatory compliance
- Develop and report on MSL impact metrics and capability analytics through data-driven insights
Requirements
- Leadership experience managing cross-functional medical affairs and operations teams
- Strong knowledge of medical affairs compliance, GxP requirements, and transparency reporting
- Experience with medical technology platforms and data analytics systems
- Strategic planning and process optimization in regulated healthcare environments
- Proficiency in medical material review and medical information governance
- Experience managing healthcare professional value transfer and contracting activities
