Expected Start Date: August 17, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Sturdy Stone Building City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Community Addiction Services Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Evenings Number of Hours per Rotation: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Addictions Counsellor - Diploma $29.584 to $36.176 Travel Required: Yes Job : The main focus of this position is to provide specialized counselling, education, and support services to individuals, families and the community. The Addiction Counsellor helps clients understand and address substance abuse and related problems, including mental health issues, problem gambling, family dynamics, and lifestyle changes. The counsellor is expected to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals within the organization, and to establish and maintain partnerships with related community organizations. This is a non-supervisory position reporting to the assigned clinical supervisor and program. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education- Chemical Dependency diploma
