Expected Start Date: To be Determined Union: SUN Facility: Irene & Les Dube Centre for Mental Health City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Mental Health and Addiction Services Combined Nursing Unit - Dube Centre Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.79 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Weekends Number of Hours per Rotation: 10 shifts of 11.78 hours per 4 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Extended Shift Hours (11.78) Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: No Job : The Clinical Coordinator, under the direction of the Manager, is primarily accountable for the system navigation and coordination of patient flow on the nursing unit. This is achieved by the Coordinator having an ongoing awareness and involvement in workflow of the unit. Duties include bed management, discharge planning, advocating for the patient/family, identifying supply and equipment needs and assisting with staff scheduling. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Minimum 5 years recent acute nursing experience
- Three (3) years experience in the specific clinical area
Education
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)
Licenses
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Other Education and Training
- Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
