All Weather At Home

Description
Hello. It’s nice to meet you.
If you’re looking for a challenge, you’ve come to the right place. We can’t promise where you’ll go, but we do promise no two All Weather journeys are the same because no matter who you are or where you come from, we’re all building something. Every single one of us. Whether it’s a home, a career, a family or a future, we’re all searching for growth. This is our story too. For more than 45 years, we’ve built the All Weather Group into the largest privately owned and operated window, door and glass manufacturer in the country. But in some ways, we’re just getting started.
Are you ready for this?
At the All Weather Group, you’ll be challenged to think on your feet, learn on the job and make an impact in big and small ways. We won’t hold your hand but we will have your back in helping you build the skills, experience and career you deserve.
We’re looking for a hands‑on, people‑first Human Resources Partner - Manufacturing to support our main manufacturing facility and help shape the future of HR at All Weather. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, values strong relationships, and takes pride in executing the fundamentals of HR exceptionally well.
You’ll partner closely with employees across production, trades, and operations, providing day‑to‑day HR support while building trust with leaders and frontline teams alike. A strong floor presence, sound judgment, and the ability to connect across cultures and communication styles are essential. While today this role is grounded in the day‑to‑day hands on HR support, as trust and credibility are built within the team, there is significant opportunity for the successful candidate to identify improvements and help evolve the HR function toward a more strategic partnership with operations.
Are you built for this?
We hire as much for attitude as we do for experience, because who you are is just as important as what you can do. This is an operationally focused role with meaningful opportunity for growth. You’ll spend much of your time supporting your group’s day‑to‑day HR needs, building processes, and strengthening manager capability. As trust grows, so will your strategic impact within the business.
This role can transition to a hybrid work model; however, the successful candidate should expect to work full‑time onsite during the first months to build relationships, gain a strong understanding of our operations, and become immersed in our teams and processes. Our core office hours are Monday‑Friday from 8 am – 5 pm and our plant operates on three shifts.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration of various programs for approximately 400 employees
- Serve as the dedicated HR partner for our manufacturing facility, coaching managers/supervisors and supporting employees at every level
- Lead investigations, accommodation discussions, conflict resolution, and performance‑related matters with professionalism and fairness
- Advise leaders on employment legislation, policy interpretation, and HR best practices
- Manage high-volume recruitment while balancing quality, speed, and candidate experience
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and support reporting and workforce metrics Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, build consistency, and support organizational change initiatives
- Foster positive relationships with employees for whom English is a second or additional language — patience, adaptability, and creative communication are real skills here
- You will be supported by a collaborative HR team and an HR Manager who is invested in your development
What You Bring
- Post‑secondary education in HR, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or other high‑volume operational environments is a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of Alberta employment legislation
- Proven ability to coach and influence leaders by building manager capability — not simply solving problems for them
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences and situations
- Strong cross‑cultural communication skills, including the ability to communicate with clarity, patience, and adaptability across language and cultural differences; additional language proficiency is an asset
- Strong organization, follow‑through, critical thinking and sound judgment in a fast‑paced environment
- You are approachable but aren’t afraid to hold people accountable
- HRIS experience required; UKG experience is an asset
- CPHR designation (or working toward it) is considered an asset
- A growth mindset and genuine motivation to help shape the future of the HR function as the role evolves; wants to make a tangible difference in the employee experience
Every day at All Weather is an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and move one step closer to your goals. Our workforce reflects the diversity of our community — and we see that as a strength. We’re committed to building an HR function that supports every employee with fairness, respect, and understanding.
The people who succeed in this role tend to share a few things in common:
They thrive when...
This might not be the right fit if...
Juggling recruitment, ER, and admin all in one day
You are looking for a predominantly strategic role right now
Coaching managers who do not always get it right away
You find operational HR work beneath your experience level
Working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume production environment
You need a quiet, predictable workload to do your best work
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and value individuals who can connect authentically with people across cultures, languages, and lived experiences. Being a trusted resource for employees at every level matters just as much as technical HR expertise. If you’re interested in this role, we encourage you to apply regardless of the criteria we’ve asked for. Please visit our careers page to get started now allweatherathome.ca/careers/
What’s in it for you?
Our story
It all began in 1978 in Edmonton, Alberta when a farmer, a salesman and a railroader created All Weather Windows. More than 45-years later, we’ve grown into a group of companies still proudly serving residential and commercial customers across Western Canada. We make premium products right here on home soil, designed and tested for Canada's harshest weather conditions, delivered with the promise of performance and style. Our purpose to Never Stop Building is a testament to the character of our people, because we’re always striving and always looking for fellow “builders”, just like you. To learn more about our who we are and what we do, please visit us online at
Diverse by design.
From day one, diversity has been our greatest source of strength. Today, we’re a company where 55 languages are proudly spoken, with the skill of an international community reflected in all of our products and services. We have people who’ve been with us for generations and we’re an open door to new comers, first timers and everyone in-between. We’re continuously working to build and promote an inclusive environment that attracts, celebrates and promotes diversity, equity and inclusion by every definition. Where everyone can bring their best and full selves to work, because what makes you different, makes all the difference to us.
The ability to make an impact.
The All Weather Group is a place where potential finds opportunity, leadership truly listens and the ability to make an impact has nothing to do with your title. We know none of us are better, smarter or stronger than all of us. So, we invite people at all levels of the organization to speak up, chip in and put ideas into action to help shape our work, careers and company.
A culture of connection and care.
People are the beating heart of our tight-knit community, so their growth is an important way we live up to our purpose, to never stop building. We view wellness as being about the whole person and have designed our programs to support physical, emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing at work and in our lives outside of All Weather.
We make a difference.
We’re honoured to have been recognized as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies 14 years in a row. But, we also know that we’re far from perfect. We’re committed to positively impacting careers, lives and communities across Canada and proudly give back in four key areas; strengthening families, providing shelter, supporting education and, health and wellness. Over the years this has included charitable giving, partnerships, employee volunteerism and supporting families in need, but one thing never changes – we show up for the moments that matter. If you’re passionate about creating a positive impact too, we need your voice to help grow this proud cultural tradition, because our work here is never done.
