Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties: An examination of the political, social and cultural changes that occurred in the United States during the 1960s. Topics include the civil rights struggle, Black Power movement, New Left, opposition to the Vietnam War, counterculture, feminism and the conservative backlash.

Required Qualifications: Relevant teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications: PhD or equivalent

*Supplemental Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement. The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount. If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.

The starting salary will not be less than $17,845.36 per 6 units, or $8,922.68 per 3 units.
