Luke’s Place is an award-winning non-profit centre of excellence in family law support for women who have been subjected to intimate partner violence as they navigate the family law system. We provide legal support services and summary legal services to over one thousand women and their children across Ontario every year. We work with academics to conduct research and collaborate widely to advocate for improved access to justice for women and their children. Our work is grounded in an intersectional feminist, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive framework.

The Training and Education Coordinator provides strong organizational and program support for Luke's Place training, resource development, and engagement activities. The position plays a key role in coordinating and supporting the development and delivery of virtual and in-person training for professionals who work with women and children subjected to intimate partner violence, as well as supporting the development and dissemination of related resources and programs. The position will also contribute to communications and engagement activities that promote Luke's Place training, resources, and expertise. Reporting to the Manager of Knowledge Mobilization, this position is ideal for someone with 1 – 3 years of experience in project coordination who enjoys working across a variety of projects and thrives in a collaborative environment.

· Coordinate the planning, development and delivery of trainings, webinars, resources, and knowledge mobilization activities

· Engage and collaborate with staff, provincial and national partners, and other stakeholders to develop and promote programs, resources and events

· Coordinate and support the development and facilitation of Communities of Practice and other engagement activities

· Support the creation of presentations, visuals, templates, and other materials in alignment with Luke’s Place branding

· Update website and online content related to knowledge mobilization activities

· Develop promotional strategies to increase awareness and engagement across audiences

· Monitor basic website, email, and social media analytics

· Support program and communications reports and statistics, including evaluation, monitoring, and engagement metrics

· A diploma or degree in Humanities, Women and Gender Studies, Adult Education, or a related field

· One to three years of experience in project coordination, event management, community engagement, or a related role

· Experience creating PowerPoint slides and designing resources and other related digital content

· Experience coordinating webinars, events, and/or training sessions

· Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Canva, Zoom, and WordPress. Experience with Moodle is an asset

· Knowledgeable and confident using learning and content management systems

· Knowledge of technical accessibility issues and plain-language editing

· Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and trauma-informed practice

· Experience in the violence against women or non-profit sector is considered an asset

· A satisfactory Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Screening
