Quality Engineer for Automotive Glass

Elevate quality assurance in automotive glass production as a Quality Engineer in Collingwood, Ontario. Drive initiatives centered on Statistical Process Control, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement. As a Quality Engineer, you will report to the Quality Manager and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards. This role encompasses managing SPC programs, leading training sessions, and fostering a culture of quality and safety in the automotive sector. Your expertise will significantly enhance operational excellence and product consistency. Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Statistical Process Control programs and audits
• Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate problem-solving
• Develop and deliver SPC training for staff
• Address nonconformance through corrective actions
• Maintain FMEA documentation and quality records Requirements:
• College diploma in Engineering or related field
• Proficient in Statistical Process Control
• Experience with PFMEAs and control plans
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and statistical software Utilize your expertise in quality assurance to enhance the automotive glass production landscape.
