Reception Supervisor

Role :

We are looking for a Reception Supervisor for a full-time, permanent position within the Épik Collection group.

This position requires an experienced individual who is operational from day one and able to travel between our various establishments.

Primary Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Accommodation Services Manager and the Operations Director, as a Reception Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

-       Supervising, mobilizing, and supporting the reception team on a daily basis.

-       Ensuring smooth reception operations and maintaining a high level of service quality and customer experience.

-       Managing complex situations, complaints, emergencies, and operational issues professionally.

-       Coordinating communications between teams and the various establishments of the group.

-       Participating in the planning of operations (schedules, procedures, administrative follow-ups, and work organization).

-       Contributing to the training, integration, and development of team members.

-       Collaborating with different departments to ensure the proper functioning of the establishments.

-       Ensuring an operational presence at the reception and providing on-site support when required.

-       Ensuring compliance with ÉPIK Collection's policies, procedures, and standards.

-       Actively participating in the organization’s internal initiatives, projects, and committees.

Working Conditions

·       Variable work schedule, including daytime, evening shifts, and weekends.

·       The supervisor position requires traveling from one establishment to another multiple times a day.

·       Occasionally, the holder of this position may be asked to work other shifts to replace a colleague.

·       Compensation varies based on the candidate's work experience and qualifications.

Desired Profile – Qualifications and Skills

-          Relevant experience in supervising or coordinating a reception team in a hotel environment;

-          2 to 5 years of experience in hospitality, ideally in similar establishments;

-          Excellent mastery of Opera Cloud / Opera PMS (essential requirement);

-          Strong leadership, work organization, and decision-making skills;

-          Proven ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, multi-establishment environment under pressure;

-          Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and recognized aptitude in problem-solving and conflict management;

-          Strong customer service orientation, professionalism, sense of responsibility, and collaborative spirit;

-          High adaptability, autonomy, versatility, and quick learning ability;

-          Availability and flexibility to work according to a variable schedule (day, evening, weekend) and to travel between the group's establishments;

-          Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written;

-          Good knowledge of operational procedures and emergency protocols in a hotel environment;

-          College diploma in hospitality, tourism, or related field (asset).
