Team Lead, Service Billing Project Accountant
Cencora
Team Lead position overseeing billing operations and accounts receivable for Cencora's patient support and commercialization services in Canada. Reports to Senior Manager of Client Service Billing and manages billing associates while serving as finance liaison to operational leadership.
Responsibilities
- Validate complex contract terms, fee structures and billing setups; approve billing templates and reporting logic
- Oversee daily and monthly invoicing workflow to ensure accuracy, completeness and timely delivery
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and work with program management on outstanding invoice collection
- Serve as primary finance contact for assigned business units and Innomar Program Managers
- Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen billing accuracy, automation and control
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Three to five years of progressively responsible billing experience, ideally healthcare
- Team management capability with strong attention to detail
- Experience with multiple IT applications and data management systems
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong business-partnering and communication skills
- Working knowledge of patient support programs preferred
