Project Space Planner

Heritage Office Furnishings is looking for a full-time Project Space Planner to work with our Project & Design Support team. This is a 12-month contract position with a possibility of a permanent placement.

Job Summary:

• Space plan CET and CAD drawings (we will provide training on CET)
• Receive new Project Folder trigger emails, assess scope and schedule review meetings with Sales Consultant to review:
• Any spec changes since last drawing revision
• Finish and material selection
• Supports required o Electrical plan requirement
• Skin Elevation plan requirements
• Installation Information (General notes, site conditions, onsite cuts, wall mounts)
• Validate and verify correct applications using enhanced product knowledge and software validation tools; document and forward any variations or alerts
• Create Hedberg quotes from CET export
• Update Project Folder details in Hedberg, including referencing CET quote numbers and linking plans, renderings, and Bill of Materials for estimation
• Work with Project Manager to ensure produced drawings are audited
• Organize work tasks and meetings in Outlook
• Conduct Site Visits and Client Meetings as and when needed
• Participate in weekly Project & Design Support Team Meeting
• Complete high level 3D renderings for projects
• Complete millwork drawings, as required

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, good analytical skills, ability to prioritize, good interpersonal skills, Photoshop/3DS Max knowledge an asset
• Positive team attitude

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Interior Design, or relatable work experience
• Level 1 AutoCAD
• Basic principles of architecture and interior design. Continuing knowledge of product innovations, building and safety codes
• 2 years practical experience AutoCAD with understanding of symbol libraries, some experience in 3D rendering

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $42,000.00-$48,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• VANCOUVER, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

• Space Planner: 1 year (preferred)
