Risk & Security Consultant Toronto Role

Drive technology risk management excellence as a Risk and Security Consultant with Simon-Kucher in Toronto. Focus on cybersecurity and compliance to enhance technology solutions across the organization. This integral role focuses on assessing and documenting risks associated with new technologies, including AI-enabled solutions. You will collaborate with IT, procurement, and audit stakeholders to ensure that security and compliance standards are met throughout the technology lifecycle. Your analytical skills will support strategic decision-making while improving existing governance processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead risk assessments for technology demands and integrations
- Evaluate security policies and operational risks
- Produce and present comprehensive risk management reports
- Collaborate with various teams to approve technology solutions
- Document and improve governance and risk management processes
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field required
- Minimum of 5 years in technology risk and governance
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices
- Experience with evaluating third-party technology solutions
- Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders
