Expected Start Date: August 02, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Pasqua Hospital City/Town: Regina Department: General Medical Nursing Unit - Medical Surveillance Unit Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends, Stats Number of Hours per Rotation: 149.36 hours per 4 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of work: Extended Shift Hours (11.78) Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse A $38.580 to $50.070 Travel Required: No Job : MSU provides an intermediate level of care requiring basic cardiac monitoring skills with integrated medical surgical nursing knowledge to support medical patients with higher acuity care needs. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Experience in critical care
Education
- Adult ECG interpretation from an accredited course is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
- Other specialty certificates related to the clinical program area as required
Knowledge and Abilities
- Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
- Knowledge in adult education
- Demonstrated initiative, self-direction, organizational & leadership abilities
- Demonstrates leadership abilities
- Ability to facilitate teamwork is essential
