Expected Start Date: August 03, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Regina General Hospital City/Town: Regina Department: General Medical Imaging Nursing Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Weekends, Stats, Standby Number of Hours per Rotation: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 4 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse A $38.580 to $50.070 Travel Required: No Job : The Registered Nurse will function in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. Responsibilities include education and preparation of clients (Pediatric and Adult) undergoing a variety of Medical Imaging procedures. The RN will assist the Radiologist/Specialist during procedures and perform direct nursing assessment and care as appropriate to ensure the safety of clients undergoing procedures. The RN will prepare for and respond to fluctuating workloads, unexpected critical situations, and the requirement to work in all modalities of Medical Imaging. The RN will collaborate with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to continually evaluate the clients care and condition while in the Medical Imaging Departments. Human Resources Exemption: No Multi-Site:- Yes
Experience
- 1 year recent experience: CCU, Medical Imaging, Operating Room and/or IR.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
- Critical Care Nursing certificate (CCN)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
