We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Gastroenterology clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience in a clinical or specialist setting and possess strong nursing and interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in contributing to the care of our patients.
We do not help with permanent residency applications.

Responsibilities
-Reviewing incoming blood work results and referral letters for triage and prioritization.
-Receiving and managing incoming telephone calls from patients, providing clinical guidance and triaging concerns appropriately.
-Preparing patients for examinations and procedures, including providing procedure preparation instructions.
-Performing a variety of clinical tasks during clinic days in support of the physician and patient care team.
-Coordinating and communicating in a polite and courteous manner with patients, health care providers, co-workers and others.
-Maintaining accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.

Required Qualifications
-Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA).
-Experience in a clinical or specialist setting required; Gastroenterology experience is an asset.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Accuro EMR system with attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
-Strong critical thinking, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Ability to communicate in English (both verbal and written).
-Ability to provide leadership, work in a high pressure and fast-paced environment, manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
-Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
-Knowledge of medical terminology, gastroenterology procedures, and electronic medical records.
-Ability to adhere to strict regional policies, procedures and legislated requirements regarding patient confidentiality.
