As a vital member of the Lightspeed Legal Team, you will draft contracts and help manage legal risks while delivering compliance guidance for product development. Your role will involve driving legal training and researching legal issues across NOAM, EMEA, and APAC, ensuring our operations are seamless. Key Responsibilities:
- Draft commercial contracts with internal and external stakeholders
- Supply legal and commercial advice to the organization
- Record and distribute legal knowledge within the company
- Recognize compliance matters in product development
- Manage international legal projects and investigations
- LL.B or J.D. degree; licensed in Canada/U.S.
- 2-4 years of experience after qualification
- Proven skills in contract negotiation
- Fluency in English; French is a plus
- Proficient in managing tasks in a high-pressure setting
