YOUR ROLE:Your main responsibilities will be as follows:Conducting targeted research by leveraging expertise in legal research and the use of available information resources;Ensuring the quality and accessibility of documentary resource collections;Coordinating and monitoring the dissemination of legislative, case law, and media watch reports;Supervising, organizing, and supporting documentation activities;Negotiating licenses, overseeing acquisitions, and managing budget tracking and control;Preparing various documents and reports. SKILLS REQUIRED:University education combined with relevant experience in a legal environment;Degree in Law or Library and Information Science;Proven experience in a law library, including management responsibilities;Experience in legal research and strong knowledge of legal or business information sources, both digital and print;Proficiency in using online resources and legal research tools (Lexis+, CAIJ);Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written;Strong communication and customer service skills;Keeps up to date with advancements and trends in information services and technologies;Strong analytical, communication, and client service skills;Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and manage multiple files simultaneously;Attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism.
