En tant que membre clé de l’équipe, vous assurerez le lien entre les services de conseil académique, le recrutement, l’organisation d’événements et la coordination opérationnelle, dans un poste qui vous offrira à la fois de la diversité et un sens réel à votre travail. Qu’il s’agisse d’organiser des événements mémorables, de vous rendre dans différentes communautés à travers la province, de tisser des liens ou de soutenir les opérations quotidiennes, vous jouerez un rôle essentiel pour créer des expériences exceptionnelles et renforcer la présence et l’impact de La Cité.
Votre rôle
- Organiser des événements marquants et renforcer les liens avec la communauté :
- Planifier et mettre en œuvre divers événements destinés aux étudiants, à la communauté et à des fins promotionnelles, afin de créer des expériences enrichissantes et de renforcer l’engagement envers La Cité.
- Gérer des projets de leur conception à leur réalisation : définir des objectifs, coordonner la logistique, gérer les budgets et les partenariats, animer les parties prenantes et veiller à la réussite des événements.
- Accompagner la réussite des étudiants par le conseil et l’orientation :
- Fournir des conseils et un soutien académique aux étudiants de Saskatoon et du nord de la Saskatchewan, que ce soit en présentiel, en ligne ou dans des formats hybrides.
- Aider les étudiants à s’y retrouver parmi les exigences des programmes, les politiques, la planification académique et les défis rencontrés, afin de favoriser leur progression et leur réussite.
- Dynamiser le recrutement et développer les actions de sensibilisation :
- Contribuer à attirer de futurs étudiants en soutenant les initiatives de recrutement dans tout le nord de la Saskatchewan et au-delà. Cela implique notamment de se rendre dans les établissements scolaires et lors d’événements communautaires, de réaliser des présentations, de nouer des relations avec les partenaires et les conseillers d’orientation, de répondre aux demandes de renseignements et d’aider à convertir les étudiants potentiels en candidats.
- Coordonner les opérations et contribuer au bon déroulement des activités quotidiennes :
- Contribuer au bon fonctionnement du bureau de La Cité à Saskatoon en gérant les processus administratifs, en coordonnant les projets, en accompagnant les étudiants salariés, en assurant la tenue des dossiers et le respect des procédures, et en veillant au bon déroulement des activités quotidiennes.
- Gérer les sessions TEF (test d’évaluation en français) en collaboration avec la personne responsable à Regina.

Join La Cité in a dynamic role where you’ll help shape the student experience while building connections across Saskatoon and northern Saskatchewan as our new
Operations and Services Coordinator . This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students through their academic journey, leading engaging events, and helping future students discover the opportunities available through La Cité and the University of Regina.
As a key member of the team, you’ll bring together student advising, recruitment, event leadership, and operational coordination in a role that offers variety and purpose. From planning memorable events and travelling to communities across the province to building relationships and supporting day-to-day operations, you’ll play an important role in creating exceptional experiences and strengthening La Cité’s presence and impact.
What You’ll Do
- Lead impactful events and strengthen community connections:
- Plan and deliver a variety of student, community, and promotional events that create meaningful experiences and build engagement with La Cité.
- Manage projects from concept to execution — setting goals, coordinating logistics, managing budgets and partnerships, leading stakeholders, and ensuring successful event delivery.
- Support student success through advising and guidance:
- Provide academic advising and support to students across Saskatoon and northern Saskatchewan through in-person, virtual, and hybrid environments.
- Help students navigate program requirements, policies, academic planning, and challenges to support their progression and success.
- Drive recruitment and expand outreach efforts:
- Help attract future students by supporting recruitment initiatives throughout northern Saskatchewan and beyond. This includes attending schools and community events, delivering presentations, building relationships with partners and guidance counsellors, responding to inquiries, and helping convert prospective students into applicants.
- Coordinate operations and support day-to-day success:
- Contribute to the effective operation of the Saskatoon La Cité office by managing administrative processes, coordinating projects, supporting student employees, maintaining records and procedures, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Manage and oversee the French evaluation test in collaboration with the TEF responsible located in Regina.

- Baccalauréat

- Connaissance du contexte social, culturel, historique et communautaire des communautés francophones, en particulier celle de la Saskatchewan.
- Solides compétences en relations interpersonnelles, en création de liens et en service client, avec la capacité d’interagir avec des publics diversifiés.
- Excellentes compétences en matière de résolution de problèmes, de conseil, de négociation et de gestion des conflits.
- Solides capacités d’écoute active, d’empathie et de communication, ainsi qu’une sensibilité au travail dans des environnements interculturels.
- Capacité à établir et à entretenir des relations de collaboration avec les étudiants, les établissements scolaires, les partenaires communautaires et les parties prenantes internes.
- Orateur confiant et captivant, capable de communiquer des informations de manière claire et efficace à différents publics. Attitude positive, professionnelle et enthousiaste lors de la représentation de La Cité et de l’Université.
What You’ll Bring to this Position
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5 years experience in either recruitment, event planning, or student counselling.
- A combination of relevant work experience and education will be considered.
- Bilingualism – Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) is required for this role.
Skills That Will Ensure Your Success in the Role:
- Strong knowledge of academic policies, procedures, admissions, registration processes, and student support services.
- Broad understanding of La Cité and University programs, with the ability to guide students through academic pathways and program options.
- Knowledge of the social, cultural, historical, and community context of Francophone communities, particularly Saskatchewan’s Francophone community.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving, advising, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong active listening, empathy, and communication abilities, with sensitivity to working in intercultural environments.
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with students, schools, community partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Confident and engaging public speaker with the ability to communicate information clearly and effectively to different audiences.
- Positive, professional, and enthusiastic approach when representing La Cité and the University of Regina.
Physical Demands Pay Grade APT 4 Salary Range $66,740 to $90,060 Status Term Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
