Position Overview:
As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a Catering(Marketplace) Sales Executive to our team. This will be a new dynamic client-facing role responsible for growing our marketplace. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting & building relationships with potential clients in order to expand our marketplace sales. You will also be responsible for managing our existing marketplace clients in order to maximize their marketplace experience.
As the Catering(Marketplace) Sales Executive, you will be instrumental in growing a new line of revenue at hungerhub. You will be part of a small(but strong) team and will have a direct impact on our company's growth. You will also have the opportunity to contribute ideas that shape the future of our marketplace.
Responsibilities:
Grow the hungerhub marketplace
- Identify and reach out to potential clients across various industries and geographies (Currently in Canada only).
- Present the benefits of using the marketplace, assist them with placing their first order and onboard them onto the platform.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth strategy.
Manage existing hungerhub marketplace clients
- Understand the needs of existing marketplace clients and assist them with placing continuous orders.
- Manage client relationships and help troubleshoot any issues.
- Create marketing emails to keep clients engaged and up to date on new offerings.
Continuously improve the hungerhub marketplace
- Work with our restaurant department on meeting the upcoming needs of marketplace clients; including creating customized event menus.
- Ensure the marketplace is easy to navigate from a client perspective.
- Work with our product team to constantly improve the marketplace.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, it's important to have, at minimum, proven experience in sales, preferably in the food or technology industry. To be a successful member of our team it's also important to have:
- Passion for the food industry and a deep appreciation for exceptional customer service and relationship-building.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain relationships.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Familiarity with the food delivery market, and catering industry and an understanding of local restaurant dynamics is a plus.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
