Responsibilities

• Act as an integrator for the cabinet design of Global business aircraft cabins during all engineering phases, from launch to delivery.
• Be responsible for integrating cabin interior furniture and linings into the cabin.
• Take on assignments of varying complexity requiring interaction with multiple areas of expertise (client team, interior design, program, occupant safety, flammability, stress, methods, logistics, etc.)
• Collaborate on design reviews, ensuring proper integration of requirements and compliance with certification rules.
• Work with partners and suppliers during the detailed design phases of projects.
• Integrate change requests of various kinds; coordinate technical meetings, analyze and define solutions, and ensure their successful implementation.
• Estimate project effort levels, submit status reports, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Be responsible for the timely delivery of quality technical documentation that meets Bombardier standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or a college diploma in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or an equivalent, with ten (10) or more years of relevant experience.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral, in English and French.
• Well organized and demonstrate excellent project management skills.
• Experience in business aircraft interior completions.
• Familiar with the Global aircraft family and interiors integration.
• Experience working with ENOVIA/VPM Nav and Catia V5.
• Understand product structures and aircraft certification.
• Can understand complex engineering problems and demonstrate creativity and initiative in problem solving.
• Motivated individual, a team player, able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
• Excellent track record of successfully meeting your commitments.
