Technical Expert, Engineering - Ground Flight Testing Integrator

Support coordination and management of ground and flight testing of a new product within the Ground & Flight Test Engineering group.

Responsibilities

• Be a part of the Ground & Flight Test Engineering group, supporting the coordination and management of ground and flight testing of a new product.
• Collaborate on the definition, design and integration of ground and flight testing within the new product development team including Bombardier Flight Test Center (BFTC) and Bombardier Experimental (BEX).
• Document the project testing strategy, requirements, demands, and scorecards and any other supporting technical definition for testing.
• Generate and maintain design, build, and test schedules for ground rigs and flight test vehicles.
• Review status, issues, and their resolution process for all phases of testing for all Bombardier owned testing assets.
• Support problem‑solving for all program and engineering disciplines, including engaging with the integrated product development team to determine testing strategy, timeline, purpose, and requirements.
• Interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders as part of a multidisciplinary team, coordinating the work as required to complete your tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 10‑15 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
• Autonomous, results‑driven, and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
• Strong communication skills, able to tailor communication to suit the audience.
• Strives for harmonious, cohesive teamwork.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint or SharePoint.
• Knowledge of Siemens Suite (e.g. Teamcenter) is an asset.
