What are your contributions to the team?

• Prepare the Aircraft / System Safety Analysis and/or Particular Risk Assessments compliance reports and demonstrating compliance with FAR/CS part 25.1309 and other relevant requirements.
• Be responsible for Reliability, Maintainability & Safety deliverables specific to assigned systems.
• Identify, follow up, and resolve all system safety issues and particular risks issues in support of the Continuing Airworthiness Process.
• Participate in aircraft / system functional hazard analysis, fault tree analysis, system safety assessment, failure mode and effect analysis and the final R,M&S certification reports.
• The duties will also require certification activities involving co‑ordination of technical issues and resolutions across all Bombardier, Partner / Supplier, Regulatory and Customer parties.
• Employ ethical practices and policies, drive positive change and promote a culture of integrity, respect and inclusivity.

How to thrive in this role?

• You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Electrical or Mechanical engineering with at least seven (7) years relevant experience in the field of R,M&S.
• You have a strong electro‑mechanical background, and an excellent understanding of aircraft performance characteristics, aircraft systems definition, integration, interfaces, component qualification, reliability and safety requirements and certification process of aircraft systems.
• You preferably have been directly involved in the aircraft definition and certification.
• Knowledge of creating Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEAs), Fault Tree Analysis (FTAs) and Safety Analysis is required.
• You must be cognizant of the relevant Airworthiness Regulations, ARP 4754, and certification process.
• You have the ability to communicate sound technical proposals and work status to management, be a team player, a self‑motivated person and be able to work under pressure.
• You possess a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
• You possess strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• You are familiar with a Microsoft 365 environment.
