We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef du Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional food service, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase culinary skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment, contributing to memorable dining experiences for our guests. Once established, Lumache offers great opportunities for growth and advancement, in Pastaiolo training and more.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Execute food preparation in a timely manner to a high level, with attention to detail.
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests, ensuring satisfaction and excellent customer service
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene practices, storage procedures, and sanitation protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, equipment, and utensils in compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management for timely replenishment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within a restaurant or food service environment
- Food safe certification
- Excellent skills in meal preparation and presentation with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in kitchen operations
- Ability to organize, prioritize and follow through as necessary
- Minimum of 3 years restaurant or kitchen experience is mandatory
- Experience in Italian food is a bonus!
