Nanny Wanted - Part Time Nanny And Vegetarian/Vegan Cook, Saanich, Driving Required

Hi! I'm a single dad in the Broadmead area of Saanich looking for a caring, reliable nanny to join our household a few weekday afternoons. My [three] kids are 7 to 13 and I'm hoping to find someone who can be a steady presence for them after school. Schedule: Three to four hours a day, three to four days a week, roughly [12 to 16] hours weekly. Weekdays, typically [3pm to 7pm]. Some flexibility on which days work best for you. Two versions of this role, depending on your comfort in the kitchen: Nanny and helper: $30 per hour

• After school supervision: snacks, homework check ins, reading, arts and crafts
• Driving the kids to and from activities around Greater Victoria
• Light housework: vacuuming, folding laundry, tidying shared spaces, kitchen cleanup
• Optional: walking my young golden retriever

Nanny, helper, and cook: $35 per hour

• Everything above, plus cooking and food prep for the family
• My home is fully vegetarian and two are vegan. Happy to share our regular recipe rotation if plant based cooking is new to you.

Both rates are negotiable based on experience. Requirements:

• Experience with school aged children
• Valid BC Class 5 licence, clean driving record, and your own reliable vehicle. Mileage reimbursed.
• Current Criminal Record Check including vulnerable sector screening. You can request this through your local police detachment and I'll cover the cost.
• Two contactable references
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Current first aid and CPR is a plus
