Finance Leader for Real Estate Growth

Excel as the first Finance Leader for a prestigious family-owned real estate company in Metro Vancouver. Your expertise will be crucial in establishing financial systems and driving company growth. This role demands a strategic and hands-on approach, overseeing critical functions like accounting and risk assessment. You’ll work closely with team members to implement effective strategies and ensure smooth transitions during a significant organizational shift. Detailed knowledge of real estate operations will be advantageous as you guide the financial function. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic financial advisory and scenario analysis
- Build financial processes and documentation from scratch
- Oversee all aspects of accounting and payroll
- Lead Yardi Breeze implementation across the organization
- Maintain relations with banks and external entities
- CPA with strong financial leadership background
- Experience in real estate operations is preferred
- Proven ability to build finance functions effectively
- Hands-on experience in strategy and execution
- Affinity for family business dynamics and culture
