The Role:
We're seeking a passionate and driven Backend Developer to join our team. You'll be a key contributor in building and maintaining the backend systems that power our innovative checkout platform. You'll work with modern technologies and collaborate with experienced developers to build scalable and robust solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js.- Build and manage data models and schemas using MongoDB.- Implement data integration and synchronization as needed.- Collaborate with frontend developers to build seamless user experiences.- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes.- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.- Contribute to database optimization and ensure data integrity.- Learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
What You Bring:
- Experience in backend development using Node.js.- Familiarity with MongoDB and NoSQL databases.- Understanding of RESTful API design and development.- Basic understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- A passion for building high-quality applications.- Eagerness to be part of a fast-growing startup and contribute to a winning culture.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).- Familiarity with React.js.
