Position Overview:

Are you a leader with a passion for social impact? Stella's Circle is seeking a Manager of Social Enterprise to lead and innovate our business initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Employment Services, you will work with our various social enterprises to contribute to the stewardship of multiple bottom lines through a strategic, relentlessly collaborative approach. As a pivotal member of our Management Team, you will guide and develop initiatives that empower marginalized individuals while driving positive change in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Work with diverse social enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Provide support and guidance to initiative coordinators and their staff teams, fostering growth and financial sustainability.
• Develop and optimize operations for established and emerging ventures.
• Refine business plans through data-driven insights and continuous improvement.
• Manage marketing efforts in collaboration with our Marketing Manager.
• Evaluate and enhance program impact through collaboration with management and Employment Services teams.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships for sustainable funding and growth.
• Contribute to our organizational strategy and fundraising endeavors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, Social Entrepreneurship, or related fields. Equivalencies will be considered.
• Proven track record in managing and scaling social enterprise or entrepreneurship programs.
• Five years of experience, including some management experience.
• Experience in the food service industry would be considered an asset.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience supervising team members.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with familiarity of social finance and funding mechanisms.
• Appreciation of the employment barriers faced by marginalized individuals.
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach.

The Details:

This is a one-year position with an opportunity for extension. Willingness to travel and use of a personal vehicle is required. The successful candidate will be required to provide an up-to-date vulnerability check.
