Data Platform Developer at Transify Remote
Transify Inc.
Be part of Transify's mission to optimize public transit as a remote Software Developer. Work on our data platform that visualizes real-time transit data. This position at Transify requires leading feature development on a data platform that helps transit agencies improve service. You will create prototypes, develop user interfaces, and manage backend logic, while thoroughly testing and documenting your code. Your expertise in frontend technologies and backend Python/Django will be critical to creating maintainable systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative features for the transit data platform
- Prototype and refine user interfaces for enhanced experiences
- Write and execute unit and integration tests effectively
- Review and refine code collaboratively with team members
- Document processes and features for clarity
- Experience with React and Python development
- Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts
- Proficiency in writing maintainable tests
- Commitment to improving public transit
- Flexible working arrangements with travel to Toronto as needed
