Job Overview Kandor Management Corp is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

RFP Proposal Writer

to support our business development efforts through the creation of high quality, compliant, and compelling proposal responses. This role is well suited for a strong writer who performs well in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and enjoys collaborating with cross functional teams to translate complex information into clear and persuasive proposals.

As part of the proposal team, the successful candidate will manage the full RFP process from initial review and strategy development through writing, coordination, and final submission. This role plays a key part in helping Kandor secure new business opportunities and strengthen long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of RFP, RFQ, and proposal submissions from intake to final delivery

Review solicitation documents to understand requirements, evaluation criteria, and deadlines

Write, edit, and format proposal content including executive summaries, methodologies, scopes of work, and value propositions

Ensure all proposals are accurate, compliant, and aligned with Kandor Management Corp’s brand and messaging

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather technical, operational, and financial information

Coordinate supporting materials such as resumes, case studies, organizational charts, and appendices

Manage multiple proposal timelines simultaneously and ensure all deadlines are met

Track proposal progress, identify risks or roadblocks, and communicate updates as needed

Maintain proposal templates, content libraries, and records of past submissions

Review proposal outcomes and incorporate feedback into future responses

Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in proposal development

Qualifications

Post secondary education in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field

2-3 years of proven writing experience. Background in grant or proposal writing is an asset

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail

Ability to convey complex information clearly and persuadely

Has technical writing skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

Experience collaborating with cross functional teams

Experience in property management, facilities, construction, or professional services is considered an asset

Experience working for construction subcontractors is an asset
