About the Role
The Marketing Content Writer / SEO Copywriter is responsible for creating engaging, customer-focused content across multiple marketing channels. This role combines content writing, SEO optimization, brand storytelling, and promotional copywriting to support e-commerce growth, customer engagement, and brand awareness. The successful candidate will create website content, product descriptions, landing pages, blogs, email campaigns, SMS marketing, social media content, catalogs, video scripts, and promotional materials while ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Creative Writing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, marketing communications, or editorial roles.
- Experience writing for e-commerce, retail, consumer products, or direct-to-consumer brands preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SEO writing and optimization techniques.
- Portfolio or writing samples required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of premium cigars or lifestyle marketing is an advantage but not mandatory.

- Content & Copywriting
- Strong copywriting and content creation abilities.
- Product storytelling and brand messaging expertise.
- Ability to write persuasive promotional and marketing content.
- Experience creating long-form and short-form content.
- SEO & Digital Marketing
- SEO copywriting and on-page optimization.
- Keyword research and integration.
- Understanding of search intent and organic search strategies.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar SEO tools.
- Communication & Collaboration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong editing and proofreading capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate with marketing, design, development, and merchandising teams.
- Effective time management and project prioritization.
- Technical Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with project management platforms such as Jira and proofing tools like Ziflow.
- Understanding of email marketing, social media, e-commerce, and content management systems.
