Insurance Law Clerk at TD Insurance
TD
Support TD Insurance lawyers in civil litigation as a Law Clerk II. This role focuses on personal injury claims and preparing legal documents while enhancing your legal expertise. As a Law Clerk II, you will report to the Legal Office Supervisor and assist in handling Property and Casualty Insurance legal matters. Your responsibilities will involve reviewing case files, updating electronic systems, and preparing document briefs for various legal processes. A strong foundation in insurance defense and personal injury claims will serve you well in thriving within this competitive field. Key Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze new file assignments
• Prepare summary memoranda for received documents
• Organize files for discovery and questioning
• Draft motions and prepare document briefs
• Keep current on legal developments and issues Requirements:
• Paralegal or Law Clerk diploma from a recognized institution
• 1-5 years of law clerk experience in litigation
• Familiarity with legal documents and procedures
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent drafting abilities Use your legal acumen to make impactful contributions to the TD Insurance legal team.
