Job Summary If bulb, mulch, and perennial are regular words in your vocabulary, then you should consider joining Cordova Bay Golf Course! We are looking for an energetic and creative horticulturist to join our dynamic team. Someone who has a green thumb and a passion for everything that grows. Our year-round horticulture programs require an additional member to tend to our various gardens, fruit trees, and the overall natural beauty of the golf course.
Tasks/Skills - Structural pruning skills to nurture our extensive tree and shrub inventory
- Perennial and annual bed planning, planting, and care to support our year-round bouquet and cut flower program
- Knowledge of vegetable gardens to assist in our extensive organic vegetable production program
- Design and installation of seasonal displays
- Starting and growing-on flower and veggie starts
-Training and supervising seasonal support staff
- Knowledge in landscape irrigation, monitoring soil moisture levels in gardens is an asset, however not required
Position Requirements - Horticulture Program Graduate or equivalent experience
- Previous gardening, landscaping, or nursery experience
- Reliable worker capable of labor-intensive tasks
- Adaptable and comfortable working on a team and independently
- Valid driver's license

Cordova Bay Golf Course is an 18-hole daily fee golf course. The facility also includes The Ridge, a 9-hole par 3 golf course, Bill Mattick's Restaurant, a driving range, pro shop, and instructional program.
