The Department of Social Development is seeking an individual to join the Executive and Operational Support Team as an Operational Support Liaison in its Central Office in Fredericton.

What you will do:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational support of the Integrated Service Delivery model and as an Administrator of our telephone software ICE - Intelligent Communication Exchange. This comprises all programs delivered at screening through our 1-833 number including, but not limited to: income support, housing, long term care, seniors and child welfare. The liaison is a direct link to Central Office for zones ensuring service delivery is at the forefront when new or existing policies and procedures and standards are implemented, modified, or moved within service delivery at the front end. This position will provide coordination and support services and will act as a conduit between Central office and the zone offices to identify issues, concerns, and/or gaps that need to be addressed via regular committee meetings with Front End Supervisors. The candidate will work closely with the zones and Integrated Front-End Project Managers in support of ongoing initiatives within screening, needs assessment, and client service delivery opportunities.

Need to have:

• A bachelor`s degree in Social Sciences, Public or Business Administration of Education and a minimum of one (1) year related work experience.
• An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

Nice to have:

• Three years` experience in screening and/or needs assessment for SD programs and services
• One year`s experience with ICE (Intelligent Communication Exchange) Telephony Platform

Wage:

Pay Band 3 - $54,288 - $75,868 annually
