Role Overview
Own and deliver the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of our client’s manufacturing facility in Brockville, ON. Drive measurable improvements in quality, throughput, cost, and employee engagement while scaling operations to support long-term growth. Strengthen a culture of process discipline, safety, and performance excellence, ensuring operational rigor across manufacturing, staffing, and all program initiatives. Hold full accountability for plant performance, driving continuous operational improvement within specialized heavy industrial component manufacturing and aftermarket servicing.
Key Outcomes & Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Implement standard operating procedures across manufacturing, maintenance, and quality operations within the first 6 months, fully aligned with enterprise-wide standards.
- On-Time Delivery: Establish a master production schedule that ensures on-time delivery
- Labor Efficiency: Optimize workforce allocation
- Capacity Scaling: Increase plant production capacity to support corporate growth targets while maintaining target KPIs.
- Safety & Compliance: Foster a zero-harm workplace culture
- Quality Assurance: Drive operational rigor
- Culture & Engagement: Cultivate a high-performing team environment, achieving high employee satisfaction metrics
