Lean Construction Improvement Manager at Aecon

Drive excellence in Lean Design and Construction as a Continuous Improvement Manager for Aecon's Hamilton LRT Alliance. Lead teams through improved planning and collaborative project delivery. Aecon is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to enhance Civil projects. This role focuses on integrating Lean methods within preconstruction, design, and construction activities. As the CI Manager, you will promote high-performing teams by coaching individuals and developing lean strategies for project success. Key Responsibilities:
• Integrate Lean methods in preconstruction and proposals
• Support design partners in work and tender planning
• Build cross-functional teams for effective collaboration
• Coach teams to foster a continuous improvement culture
• Identify waste and establish productivity measures Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Last Planner System
• Proven Lean Design and Construction implementation skills
• Experience in large, complex capital projects
• Strong communication and negotiation skills Elevate project delivery and continuous improvement efforts through Lean thinking in civil construction at Aecon.
