This role can be based in Waterloo, Ontario or Calgary, Alberta and is a hybrid model with 2-3 days a week in office.
The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $110,000 per year.

WHO YOU ARE:
You are a passionate, strategic, and hands-on facilities leader who thrives in dynamic, guest-focused environments. With a strong foundation in facilities management, you bring a balance of operational excellence, leadership capability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences in every location you support.
You have progressive leadership experience overseeing multi-site facilities operations, ideally within retail, hospitality, or entertainment environments. You’re skilled at managing budgets, capital projects, preventative maintenance programs, vendor partnerships, and ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. You are both analytical and action-oriented, able to prioritize competing demands while maintaining a high standard of execution.
A natural collaborator, you build strong relationships with cross-functional partners including Operations, Construction, IT, and external vendors. You are known for your ability to lead and coach teams, influence stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and performance outcomes.
You are passionate about creating environments where guests and teams can thrive and you’re energized by the unique, fast-paced world of cinema exhibition. You bring a genuine interest in the movie-going experience and understand how well-maintained, high-performing facilities contribute directly to guest satisfaction and brand reputation.
Key qualifications and attributes include:
- Demonstrated experience in facilities management, building operations, or a related field, with leadership responsibility across multiple locations
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, life safety, etc.) and preventative maintenance practices
- Proven experience managing vendors, service contracts, and capital or renovation projects
- Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Commitment to health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex operational challenges
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to implement scalable processes and systems
While not required, experience with cinema projection equipment and sound systems is considered a strong asset , and a curiosity or willingness to learn in this area will set you apart.

THE JOB:
This role is a senior leader within the Experience team, responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Experience Managers and overall coordination of facilities-related programs across the circuit. The Senior Manager ensures consistent execution, develops people capability, and supports the prioritization and allocation of resources.
This role brings strong facilities management expertise and acts as a key integrator between operations, vendors, and capital project execution.
· Directly manages and develops Managers, Experience
· Provides coaching, performance management, and succession planning
· Ensures consistent standards, accountability, and execution across regions
· Leads team routines, meetings, and performance reviews
· Oversees day-to-day execution of Experience functional responsibilities
· Coordinates prioritization and deployment of resources across the circuit
· Supports theatres with escalation resolution and operational challenges
· Oversees execution of cleaning contracts and programs, security systems, utilities & energy management, sprinkler & alarm systems, building automation & controls and facilities maintenance programs
· Supports vendor negotiations and monitors contract performance
· Coordinates maintenance CAPEX planning and execution
· Supports rollout of small-to-mid scale projects
· Partners with Director on larger capital and construction initiatives
· Leads KPI tracking, reporting, and performance analysis
· Identifies cost efficiencies and process improvements
· Supports budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking

Requirements
- 7–10 years experience in facilities management, building operations, or related field
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing leaders and developing teams minimum 5 years of people management experience
- Strong project and resource management capability
- Experience managing vendor contracts and service agreements
- Strong financial and business acumen, demonstrated experience managing budgets of at least $2 million in annual spend
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Ability to read drawings and basic understanding of building code
- Experience working in multiple provinces and familiarity with provincial regulations including environmental, OHS, Labour etc.
- Ownership & accountability of budgets, targets & results
- Post-secondary education in a related field considered an asset
- Professional designation including P.Eng, PMP, FMP or CFM an asset
- Background in lean methodology, six sigma or TPM will be considered an asset
