Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Anchor days: Tues–Thurs onsite)
Duration: August 18, 2026 – May 28, 2027 (Extension & conversion possible)
Pay Rate : Up to $45-$55/hr + 4% vacation pay
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale onboarding and integration initiative within a claims and operations environment. This is a high-impact, enterprise-level transformation program delivered in partnership with an external vendor.
This role is responsible for end-to-end program orchestration , ensuring seamless execution across multiple workstreams—from discovery through go-live and stabilization. The successful candidate will bring strong execution leadership, governance expertise, and the ability to drive alignment across business, operations, technology, and vendor teams.
Key Responsibilities
Program Delivery
- Lead and coordinate multiple workstreams including technology, operations, communications, and vendor delivery
- Develop and manage an integrated delivery plan with milestones, dependencies, and outcomes
- Drive execution across the full lifecycle: discovery → implementation → go-live → stabilization
Vendor Management
- Serve as primary interface with vendor.
- Track vendor performance against scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Identify risks and escalate issues proactively.
- Translate SOW commitments into actionable delivery plans.
Governance & Execution
- Maintain program governance (risk logs, issue tracking, decision registers)
- Facilitate weekly status updates, reporting, and milestone tracking
- Ensure transparency and proactive risk mitigation
Operational Readiness
- Oversee SOP development, documentation, and job aids
- Coordinate training and readiness planning
- Align system capabilities with operational processes
- Support go/no-go decisions and production launch readiness
Executive Communication
- Prepare dashboards and updates for senior leaders (COO/GM level)
- Support governance forums and decision-making
- Ensure stakeholder alignment across all functions
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field
- PMP (or equivalent) certification
- 9+ years of project/program management experience
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end, multi-workstream programs
- Strong vendor management experience in vendor-led delivery environments
- Expertise in program governance , risk/issue management, and executive reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in insurance, claims, or financial services
- Background in vendor-led or outsourced delivery models
- Consulting experience (Big 4 or equivalent)
- Experience with claims operations transformation or setup
- Exposure to customer communication channels (telephony, digital, chatbot)
