Pinot's Palette is a leader in the Paint-and-Sip industry with over 100 locations across the United States and Canada. Our Woodbridge (Vaughan) studio has been creating vibrant, memorable experiences for our guests — from guided painting classes and date nights to kids' birthday parties, corporate team-building events, and more. We are now expanding with a second location in Oakville.

We're looking for a dynamic, charismatic individual who is equal parts artist and entertainer — someone who can guide a room through a painting, then fire up the crowd for a trivia showdown or belting out karaoke. The Role

This is a multi-faceted, part-time role spanning both our Woodbridge and Oakville locations. You will be the face of the studio on event nights, responsible for creating a warm, energetic, and unforgettable atmosphere for every guest.

Responsibilities

Paint Nights

•       Create and develop original paintings to be taught in classes and used in promotional materials

•       Develop and execute detailed, step-by-step teaching methods tailored to beginner-to-intermediate painters

•       Instruct and engage guests during class in an energetic, clear, and well-paced manner while encouraging creativity and fostering a relaxed, fun atmosphere

•       Assist guests and fellow staff to ensure smooth class flow and promote guest success through teamwork and a positive attitude

•       Adapt instruction style to the audience — whether it's a date night, corporate group, birthday party, or family event

•       Host and MC themed event nights — including Trivia Nights and Karaoke Nights — with high energy and crowd-friendly charisma

•       Create a fun, judgment-free atmosphere where every guest feels like the star of the show

General Responsibilities

•       Represent the Pinot's Palette brand with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm at all times

•       Travel between our Woodbridge (Vaughan) and Oakville locations as scheduled

•       Collaborate with studio management to plan event themes, calendars, and promotional content

•       Support a seamless guest experience from arrival to completion of the event

Required Skills & Abilities

•       Genuine outgoing, charismatic personality — you naturally work a room and put people at ease

•       Strong public speaking and performance skills; comfortable on a microphone in front of a crowd

•       Ability to design and execute quality acrylic paintings in a variety of styles suitable for group instruction

•       Experience or comfort hosting events

•       High energy, adaptable, and quick-thinking — able to read the room and adjust on the fly

•       Excellent time management and communication skills

•       Collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude

•       Basic computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word or equivalent

•       Must have reliable transportation and be willing to work at both Vaughan and Oakville locations

•       Must be available to work weekends — the majority of events take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings

Preferred Education & Experience

•       College degree or diploma in Fine Art, Design, or a related creative field

•       Experience leading groups in a teaching, facilitation, or entertainment capacity

•       Prior experience in customer service, hospitality

•       Experience as a host, or event MC is a strong asset

•       Experience in a paint-and-sip, entertainment, or event venue setting

•       A following or social media presence in arts or entertainment is a bonus

Job Type: Part-Time

Availability: Must include weekends (Friday–Sunday evenings)

Required Experience:

•       Painting or art instruction: 1 year

•       Customer service or hospitality: 1 year

•       Event hosting, entertainment, or performance: 1 year (preferred)
