Salary range (but not limited to):

45,200 - 55,200

Incentive plan

Annual bonus: 5% target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to 200% (subject to personal and company performance)

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

We’re looking for a Bilingual Administrative Assistant - Commercial Insurance (IBU) to join our growing BrokerLink team in New Brunswick !

As a Bilingual Administrative Assistant on our Independent Business Unit (IBU) team, you’ll c ollaborate closely with our brokers to ensure timely client renewals and service while maintaining balanced workloads. If you are bilingual in spoken and written French and English (with a high level of French) and eager to start a career in the insurance industry and grow into an Insurance Advisor, this entry-level role is a great opportunity !

What you’ll do here

• Work closely with the bilingual Commercial Insurance Advisor team to ensure clients are renewed and serviced on time while maintaining balanced workloads.
• Triage incoming service requests and distribute them evenly among Insurance Advisors.
• Monitor and triage emails in the shared inbox, assigning items evenly to bilingual Insurance Advisors.
• Process policy renewals and allocate renewal files evenly across the team.
• Answer overflow French calls and route or assign inquiries as needed.
Perform a variety of administrative duties, applying standard methods and established procedures.

What you bring to the table

• A high level of proficiency in both written and spoken French and English is mandatory. Requires answering calls and providing service to a French-speaking clientele on a regular basis
• New Brunswick General Insurance Agent Licence (Level 1) is required (or willingness to obtain it).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent customer focus and administration skills.
• Solid organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Enjoys working behind the scenes and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
