Vitalis is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Assistant who will report directly to the VP of Operations. We are looking for candidates who are interested in working in a production environment where you will have the opportunity to contribute, grow and prosper as part of our organization. Key Responsibilities :

• Organizing and picking manufacturing orders & quality control documentation support
• Picking, kitting, and issuing parts for Manufacturing, Sales, and Service
• Maintain physical inventory in an organized and efficient method
• Participate and lead physical inventory counts
• Accountable for inventory control
• Assist in planning and implementing shop improvement projects as a part of LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives

• Supporting production and warehouse efforts

Qualifications and Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail & organized

• Parts and warehouse experience required
• Completion of grade 12 (or equivalent)
• Must be able to lift and move 40 lbs/18 kg
• Safety conscious must adhere to Vitalis safety policy & procedure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and be computer literate
• Must have experience with an ERP and/or an inventory management system (Odoo specific experience an asset)
• Time management and problem-solving skills
• Experience reading shop/production drawings would be an asset
• Forklift Certification with experience an asset
• Related training such as First Aid Level 1 would be an asset
• Understand the importance of teamwork and have a positive impact on the team

• Must be a Canadian citizen or have a work visa for Canada
