About the Opportunity
Oomple is seeking an experienced IT Risk Manager to support a leading Canadian Crown corporation on a high-profile enterprise technology risk and governance initiative. This role is ideal for an experienced IT Risk, Technology Risk, GRC, or IT Governance professional who enjoys working with senior stakeholders, improving governance processes, and transforming risk data into meaningful executive reporting through Power BI . You'll work across technology, cybersecurity, operations, and business teams to help strengthen enterprise IT risk management while supporting executive decision-making. What You'll Do
Administer and maintain the enterprise IT Risk Register- Coordinate with risk owners to track mitigation plans and ensure timely follow-up
- Monitor enterprise technology risks and identify emerging issues
- Prepare executive-level risk reporting and governance materials
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations
- Analyze risk trends, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and mitigation effectiveness
- Support governance committees through reporting, escalation, and risk oversight
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across technology and business teams
What We're Looking For
You bring:
5+ years of experience in IT Risk Management, IT Governance, GRC, Technology Risk, IT Audit, or Operational Risk- Experience managing enterprise IT Risk Registers and governance processes
- Experience preparing executive-level risk reporting and presentations
- 3+ years of hands-on Power BI experience , including dashboards, data models, DAX, and executive reporting
- Experience working with ServiceNow IRM, Archer, SharePoint, Planview, AgilePlace, or similar governance and risk platforms
- Strong understanding of IT risk management frameworks, risk assessments, controls, and governance practices
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills

Experience supporting large enterprise or regulated organizations within industries such as:
