Position Overview:

Join the Finning family! Reporting directly to the Service Supervisor the Yard Coordinator is responsible for all logistics and transport ensuring that delivery/shipping times and schedules are accurate and achievable.

As the Yard Coordinator you will act as the central point of contact for customers entering the Finning yard to pickup equipment and components.

Job Description:

• Ensure all transport companies conform to Finning Health and Safety rules while entering our yard with the support of Service Supervisors.

• Central communication contact for all divisions looking to deliver/ship into and out of yard.

• Co-ordinate transport ensuring that delivery/shipping times and schedules are accurate and achievable.

• Process all shipping/receiving paper work inspections and pictures. Ensure documents are uploaded and distributed to right individuals.

• Central point contact for customers entering yard to pickup equipment and components.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent

• 1 2 years experience in Administration/Logistics

• Familiar with heavy equipment familiar with shipping/receiving processes

• Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft (excel word)

• Must be able to provide a clean drivers abstract

• Team player with a keen attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication abilities

• Ensure Customers and transport companies follow all safety procedures and rules while in yard

• Work with the team to deliver and contribute to the branches goal and organizations customer service experience

• Co-ordinate and schedule all transportation in and out of yard.

• Process and organize all shipping paperwork in and out of the yard.

Important Details:

• This position is based out of Regina on a 5x2 Monday - Friday shift
