Remote Manager of Commercial Underwriting

Lead Agile Underwriting Solutions as a remote Manager of Commercial Underwriting in Ontario. This role focuses on team development, broker relations, and optimizing underwriting performance. Agile Underwriting Solutions is seeking an accomplished underwriting leader to elevate our Ontario operations. With a focus on delivering exceptional client service and managing key broker partnerships, you will shape the team’s effectiveness. Your leadership will support strong performance metrics like retention, rate adequacy, and sales enhancement. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the underwriting team for high client satisfaction
- Oversee sales performance, including renewal retention and upselling
- Monitor key performance indicators for profitability
- Facilitate team meetings to execute initiatives
- Drive innovation by enhancing processes and efficiency
- 5+ years of underwriting experience, with 2 years in management
- CIP or FCIP designation required; undergraduate degree preferred
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead in high-growth environments
