Senior Ecommerce Manager, Post-Purchase

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Ecommerce Manager, Post-Purchase based in Canada. In this role, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end post-purchase customer journey, designing and optimizing cancellation flows, order management systems, loyalty initiatives, and referral programs. Operating in a fully remote, high-trust environment, you will build a repeatable, scalable post-purchase testing function from the ground up to maximize customer lifetime value and retention. Working cross-functionally with Retention, Design, and Engineering, you will turn quantitative insights, UX research, and pricing models into seamless user experiences. Leveraging cutting-edge AI-assisted workflows and advanced cohort analytics, you will drive subscription upsells, cross-sells, and feature adoption across a growing product portfolio. This is a high-visibility position for a data-driven e-commerce product strategist passionate about solving user friction and shaping subscription growth. You will also participate in biannual team off-sites, combining remote flexibility with meaningful in-person collaboration. Accountabilities: - Post-Purchase Journey Ownership: Lead the strategy and performance of post-purchase customer touchpoints, including cancellation flows, order management, loyalty programs, and referral experiences. - Feature Development & Execution: Build and launch new post-purchase product features end-to-end, taking concepts from initial customer research and UX design through to engineering handoff and deployment. - Retention & Analytics Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on feature engagement and cohort metrics using analytics tools, identifying key leading indicators that directly influence customer retention. - Pricing & Upsell Optimization: Own upsell, cross-sell, and retention metrics, executing price modeling, positioning strategies, and A/B testing on pricing platforms to drive recurring revenue. - Custom Experience & Discovery: Optimize member discovery tools and custom subscription building features across the product ecosystem to enhance long-term engagement. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Retention, Data, Design, and Engineering teams to define technical requirements (APIs, backends, queues) and maintain seamless project momentum.

Requirements: - Professional Experience: 3–7 years of experience in product management, e-commerce, or retention-focused roles, preferably within a DTC brand or digital subscription environment. - AI-Assisted Workflows: Proficiency with AI productivity and design tools (such as Claude Code, Claude Design, or similar AI-assisted workflows) across ideation, copywriting, design, and building processes. - Analytics & Retention Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with web analytics and retention/cohort reporting tools (e. g. , GA4, Heap, or dedicated retention platforms). - Technical & UX Competency: Comfortable collaborating with engineering teams on backend infrastructure, APIs, and queues, combined with a strong foundation in customer research and UX design methodologies. - Pricing & Testing Experience: Practical experience with price modeling, price positioning, and pricing/A/B testing tools (e. g. , Intelligems). - Strategic Mindset: Action-oriented, highly analytical, member-obsessed, and process-minded professional who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
