Assistant VP Data Governance Leadership

Join BDC as the Assistant Vice-President of Data & AI Governance to spearhead comprehensive data strategies. Forge connections across teams to elevate data literacy and governance practices. You will report directly to the Chief Data & AI Officer, ensuring robust oversight of data management. Collaborating with various departments, you will work toward empowering leaders to assume accountability related to data assets effectively. Your mission includes leading initiatives in Data Knowledge Management, ensuring a culture of data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of Data & AI governance strategies
- Manage a high-performance governance team
- Facilitate executive alignment across data governance tasks
- Create engagements for Data Literacy programs
- Establish robust data stewardship initiatives
- Bachelor's degree or higher required; MBA advantageous
- Over 10 years in data governance experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Experience managing data governance teams
- Relevant knowledge in agile data governance
