Flooring Sales Associate

Job Responsibility:

• Build connections that foster long-lasting relationships with customers.
• Provide superior customer service by adhering to our sales and service model.
• Record measurements for customers and perform basic calculations, such as converting inches to feet, and calculating linear feet and square footage.
• Complete sales and arrange deliveries.
• Learn about new products and attend Flooring department-specific training when available.
• Manage and process sales orders using Excel and D365.
• Approach interactions and learning opportunities with a curious mindset.
• Maintain store standards, including inventory, replenishment, and merchandising.
• Prioritize safety in all tasks.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
• Self-motivated and proactive in serving customers.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and be cross trained in other departments.
• Knowledge of flooring is an asset.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Flexible availability to work days, evenings, and weekends (rotating 8-hour shifts).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent is an asset.
