Marketing and Sales Manager

Slow Bottled Sunday is a fast-growing BC food company on a mission to reduce food waste by upcycling fresh, Okanagan fruit into garden-rich sauces.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team on an 8-month contract with the opportunity to become permanent.

This position will manage our social media, email, and other marketing campaigns as well as assist our sales manager with in-person sales at various locations around Metro Vancouver.

Job details1. Manage all aspects of our social media and email marketing.

2. Create creative content that aligns with our brand mission

3. Network with other food brands and restaurants throughout Metro Vancouver and BC on collaborative marketing projects

4. Outreach to various media

5. Work at markets and tradeshows as a brand ambassador and salesperson for our products.

6. Learn about and articulate information about the BC food economy, our business' mandate and the details about our products, process and mission.

7. Propose new ideas for marketing our brand and products

8. Travel to the Okanagan to create content with farms we source ingredients from and in our kitchen

9. Perform other marketing and sales related duties

The successful candidate will have/be:

1. reliable access to a vehicle. Preferably your own vehicle but an Evo account may be acceptible

2. a demonstrated interest in food culture and/or BC's food economy. (not simply experience working in a restaurant.)

3. be under 30

4. a portfolio of video/photo content you've created

5. experience using basic video editing software

6. comfortable being in front of the camera to create content

7. comfortable talking to new people

8. exceptional attention to details

9. ability to take initiative to follow through on completing projects

10. a positive attitude

Job Types: Permanent, Fixed term contractContract length: 8 months

Pay: $3,500.00 per month
