Head of Product Control at Capital Power

Step into a leadership role as Head of Product Control with Capital Power in Edmonton. You will manage P&L governance, valuation integrity, and regulatory compliance within the Commodity Risk team. With 8+ years of experience, you will ensure precision in P&L reporting and lead a team that enhances valuation workflows and data integrity. This role is pivotal in maintaining compliance and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a transforming energy landscape. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Product Control team in a high-performance culture
- Ensure daily and month-end P&L accuracy and completeness
- Review commodity price curves for governance
- Conduct P&L attribution and market impact assessments
- Manage audit documentation and analysis processes
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- Minimum 8 years in Product Control or financial reporting
- 3+ years in roles with people leadership
- Deep understanding of valuation methodologies
- Familiarity with SOX audit controls and compliance standards
