Expected Compensation: The hourly rate for this role is $23.00 on a 37.5‑hour work week, with an increase upon licensing and movement into the Insurance Advisor position. Licensing is typically achieved within 3 months from the date of hire but is dependent on individual achievement.

Westland provides support to all Trainees as they work to obtain their licensing. As a Trainee you will:

• Have your licensing costs covered by Westland.
• Be provided with a training plan to ensure you’re fully supported throughout the six‑week training period and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Develop your career in insurance by learning how to promote and educate clients on Insurance products.
• Practice anticipating and interpreting client needs, and completing various insurance transactions.
• Answer client questions and communicate product benefits that best match client needs.
• Conduct interviews, capture required data, and turn client concerns into opportunities.

• Eager to grow, with minimal sales or customer service experience under your belt.
• Building authentic client relationships comes naturally to you.
• Master time manager, can prioritize your workload, and demonstrate confidentiality and discretion.
