Ontario Wholesale Energy (“OWE”) is one of Ontario’s fastest-growing boutique natural gas and electricity retailers, serving over 44,000 commercial customer sites across the province. We provide innovative energy solutions — from price-stability plans to structured, leveraged index products — helping small, medium, and large commercial consumers manage their energy costs with confidence.

  • Base Salary: $50,000/year + industry-leading commissions
  • Commission structure: Up-front and residual commissions ($20 per RCE) with incremental increases based on performance

What You’ll Do

As an Energy Specialist / Appointment Booker , you’ll be the driving force behind our growth — connecting with businesses across Ontario, introducing them to smarter energy solutions, and helping them save money while achieving stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and qualify new commercial customers via outbound calls (100–150 per day)
  • Schedule appointments and build long-term relationships with decision-makers
  • Collaborate closely with Outside Sales and Account Management teams to close deals
  • Maintain integrity, transparency, and professionalism in every interaction
  • Track progress, meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly RCE targets
  • Manage your pipeline efficiently with strong time-management and goal-setting habits

  • Previous experience in sales, energy, or call centre environments
  • College diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications (asset, not required)
